Our first chat of Nov I thought was a great success. The topic of Why giftedness matters is an important topic. For this chat we had Author Celi Trepanier, who writes the blog Crushing Tall Poppies and book Educating Your Gifted Child: How One Public School Teacher Embraced Homeschooling.

We have to advocate for our children, which was a huge chunk of our chat.
Most of all, teachers and parents need to be communicating with each other and helping each other to help our students to become as success and challenged as possible. One of the best ideas that were spoken of in this chat was to form a support group, or parent-teacher group where everyone learns about gifted children, and how to advocate for them.
