Procrastination and perfectionistic behaviors in gifted children are linked. For this reason, and many more reasons, we need to improve teacher training in both the regular education and gifted education classrooms.
Knowing and understanding how both procrastination and perfectionism are linked, how to recognize the behaviors, and knowing how to help students cope with those issues is important.
