Diligent Differentiation by Dedicated Educators :)

Whether you just found us, read through the chat tweets, or joined tonight's chat - you are a dedicated educator! Monday, February 29th is the kick-off for the 2016 OAGC Teacher Academy. Teachers, administrators, and gifted advocates from all over Ohio will come together for two days of professional development dedicated to gifted education. Differentiation will be a key topic throughout the Academy, and so tonight's chat was dedicated to differentiation and the contributions of our Keynote speaker Ian Byrd @BrydseedGifted.

On Feb 28, we are reviewing a few articles from Ian Byrd on differentiation. Here are the questions for Sunday's chat:

How do you see complexity as it relates to differentiation?
What indicators of student behavior do you notice if differentiation is working or not?
What are your favorite styles of differentiation that you have used are the most effective?
In what ways have you grouped students as a way to differentiate instruction?
Giving students a choice is a great differentiation strategy, what are some ways you can introduce choice in your classroom as a differentiation strategy?
